Yamir is a master of the Gaitas and drum format of the Colombian Atlantic coast, and a skilled designer and builder of traditional instruments including Gaitas, Tambor Alegre, Tambora, Tambor Llamador, maracas, and Millo flute.
As a founding member of Bogotá's successful Luthiería company "Pájaro Cantor," his passion for authentic sound shines through.
Having captivated audiences on musical tours, recordings, and workshops across Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, and England, Yamir brings his rich heritage to the stage.
